How We Start
Every client relationship starts with slowing down, asking the right questions, and making sure we understand your business before we say a single word on your behalf.
1. Discover
Every business has a story worth telling — we just need to find yours. We kick off with a deep-dive conversation to understand your brand, your people, your goals, and what's worked (or hasn't) before. You'll fill out a simple onboarding questionnaire and we'll get together on a call to make sure I know your business as well as you do. By the end, I have everything I need to build something that actually feels like you.
2. Design
This is where your social presence takes shape. I'll develop your content pillars — the core themes that every post will ladder back to — along with a monthly content plan, a look and feel for your feed, and a tone of voice guide so every caption sounds unmistakably like your brand. Thorough research will be done into your industry and competitive landscape. You'll review and approve the strategy before anything goes near your audience.
3. Deliver
With the strategy locked in, I get to work. We collaborate with a content shoot day, then each month you'll receive a content calendar for approval, then I'll handle the curation, scheduling, and community management while you focus on running your business. You'll get a monthly report showing what landed, what grew, and what we're focusing on next.
4. Develop
Social media isn't set-and-forget — it gets better over time. Each month we review what's resonating with your audience, refine the approach, and build on what's working. As I get to know your brand deeper and your audience grows, the content gets sharper. This is where the long-term relationship really pays off.

Honestly? It depends on where you're starting from, but most clients start to see meaningful engagement growth around the 3-month mark. Social media is a long game — the first month is about laying the right foundation, the second is about refining, and from there the momentum builds. We'll track your growth each month so you can always see what's moving and why.
-
As involved as you want to be. Some clients love reviewing every caption before it goes out; others are happy to approve a monthly content plan and leave the rest to me. Either way, you'll always have final say before anything is published. What I do need from you upfront is your time for an onboarding call, your brand assets, any photos or footage you'd like used and presence at content shoots— after that, the workload on your end is minimal. The main ongoing commitment from you is showing up for content shoots. I'll plan everything and make it as easy as possible on the day, but the magic of authentic content is that it needs real people in it.
-
That's the whole point. Before I write a single caption, I spend time understanding how you talk, what you value, and what feels off-brand for you. Every client gets a tone of voice guide as part of their strategy, so the content I create sounds like the best version of you — not like me, and definitely not like a template.
-
Content creation is a hands-on part of what I do. I shoot photography and video on iPhone, which is perfectly suited to the authentic, real-feeling content that performs best on social media right now. For campaigns that call for something more cinematic — a brand launch, a hero video, a seasonal campaign — I can bring in trusted photographers and videographers to deliver that level of production.
Most of my clients' best-performing content comes from content shoots we plan and create together. That might be you and your team behind the counter, your products in their natural environment, or your staff doing what they do best — this kind of Employee Generated Content consistently outperforms polished studio shoots because it's real. I'll plan the shoot, direct on the day, and handle the editing. All you need to bring is yourself and your space.
-
Then we fix it. Every month you'll review and approve the content calendar before anything is scheduled — nothing goes out without your sign-off. I'd always rather you tell me something isn't right than let it go live and feel uncomfortable about it. Basic revisions are part of the process, not an extra.
-
Community management (replying to comments and DMs) is available as part of higher-tier packages. If it's not included in your package, I'll keep an eye out for anything important for you to respond to personally — some clients actually prefer to handle the conversation side themselves, which I completely understand.
-
Primarily Instagram and Facebook, with Meta Business Suite as the backbone for management and ads. If you're on TikTok, LinkedIn, or Pinterest, let's chat — I work with those platforms on a case-by-case basis depending on whether they're the right fit for your business.
-
A minimum of three months. Social media genuinely needs time to work, and a one-month engagement wouldn't be doing either of us any favours. After the initial period, we move to a rolling monthly arrangement — so you're never locked in long-term, but we have enough runway to actually get results.
-
Not as much as you'd think. Once you enquire, we'll have a quick discovery call to make sure we're a good fit. From there: a signed agreement, your first invoice, your brand assets (logo, colours, fonts), access to your social accounts, and a brain dump of everything you love and hate about how your business has shown up online so far. I'll handle the rest.

If this sounds like what your business has been missing, let's start with a conversation — no pressure, no jargon, just a chance to see if we're a good fit.
